TB in women: Weill Cornell's collaboration with BJ Government Medical College (Pune, India), by Jyoti Mathad

When: Monday, March 2nd, 2020 at 12:15pm

Dr. Mathad from the Center for Global Health at Weill Cornell will talk about her research in Pune, India, on how the immunologic changes of pregnancy intersect with those of TB and HIV. She will also be talking about the important cofactors such as household air pollution and gestational diabetes, that may further exacerbate the risk of developing active TB.
